DESCRIPTION
Lupines are a hardy, drought-tolerant plant that produce showy flowers in a variety of colors. They are typically planted in the spring, after the last frost. Lupines prefer full sun but will tolerate partial shade. The plants will self-seed, so deadheading is not necessary. Lupines are also deer-resistant.

Planting Instructions:
Lupine seeds can be direct sown in the spring or fall.
Fill a seed flat with potting mix.
Press the Lupine seeds into the soil about 1/4 inch deep.
Cover the seeds with a thin layer of sand or perlite.
Water the seeds well and place the seed flat in a cool bright spot.
Keep the seed flat moist until germination.
Lupine seeds will germinate in about 7 to 21 days.
Transplant the seedlings to individual pots when they have at least 2 sets of true leaves
